Two Killed in Tarrant County Plane Crash

Two people were killed Sunday afternoon when a plane crashed in the 12000 block of N. Saginaw Boulevard near Hicks Airfield, the Fort Worth Fire Department said. The aircraft struck 18-wheelers and trailers, igniting a fire that is now under control. The site lies between Fort Worth Alliance and Meacham airports, west of DFW International Airport. Crews from multiple agencies, including Tarrant County, Haslet, Lake Worth, Newark, Saginaw, Eagle Mountain, and Fort Worth, responded.
