Pavia powers No. 17 Vanderbilt past LSU

Diego Pavia accounted for three touchdowns as No. 17 Vanderbilt beat No. 10 LSU 31-24 in Nashville, snapping a 10-game skid against the Tigers and securing the Commodores’ first win in the series since 1990. Pavia threw for 160 yards and a score and ran for 86 and two TDs, while Vanderbilt’s defense forced LSU to settle for field goals despite explosive plays. A fourth-quarter sack by Zaylin Wood helped seal it after Vandy’s first punt. With purple filling the stands, Vanderbilt celebrated to “Callin’ Baton Rouge” as LSU fans headed out.
