Miami struck first with a 49-yard Riley Patterson field goal, but Baltimore answered after safety Alohi Gilman forced and recovered a fumble, leading to Jackson’s touchdown pass to Mark Andrews. The Dolphins later drove inside the red zone behind De'Von Achane’s bursts before a false start on fourth and 1 preceded Patterson missing from 35 yards. Baltimore entered 2-5 despite Jackson’s league-best 130.5 passer rating; Miami came in 2-6 after Tua Tagovailoa’s four-TD win in Week 8.
