Jon Stewart to host 'The Daily Show' through December 2026

Jon Stewart will keep the Daily Show chair on Mondays through December 2026, Paramount said, ensuring his voice is on air for next year’s midterm elections. Comedy Central chief Ari Pearce called the renewal an ongoing commitment to incisive comedy and a win for audiences and partners. Stewart, who returned last year after his 1999–2015 run, will also remain an executive producer as the show continues with a rotating lineup the rest of the week.
