Georgia tops Ole Miss in 43-35 shootout

Athens, Ga. In a top-10 shootout, No. 9 Georgia beat No. 5 Ole Miss 43-35, handing the Rebels their first loss and jolting the SEC race. The teams scored on the first 11 drives before Georgia’s first stop early in the fourth set up a nine-play, 67-yard march for a 40-35 lead. The Bulldogs outgained Ole Miss 510-351 and closed with a 17-0 fourth quarter; Gunner Stockton accounted for five TDs without a turnover. Kirby Smart called it a 'culture win.' The Athletic’s model moved Georgia to 78% Playoff odds, Ole Miss to 63%.
