Skattebo Ankle Dislocation Mars Giants’ 38-20 Loss

In a bruising 38-20 loss to the Eagles, Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo dislocated his right ankle and was set for Sunday night surgery, a scene that left teammates shaken. Skattebo, 23, had caught an 18-yard touchdown from fellow rookie Jaxson Dart before the second-quarter hit sent him to an area hospital with an air cast. New York fell to 2-6, a week after its stunning collapse in Denver, deepening a season already hit by injuries, including Malik Nabers’ torn ACL. Dart finished 14-of-24 for 193 yards and a score as no Giant topped 50 yards.
