Ryan Niblett’s 75-yard punt return in the fourth quarter capped Texas’ much-needed 23-6 win over sixth-ranked Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry. Arch Manning completed 21 of 27 for 166 yards, including a 12-yard go-ahead TD to DeAndre Moore Jr. to open the second half, and Mason Shipley kicked field goals of 22, 48 and 39 yards. Texas kept the Golden Hat and converted seven straight third downs after halftime. Oklahoma’s John Mateer went 20-of-38 with three interceptions only 17 days after right-hand surgery, as the Sooners were limited to 258 yards and didn’t score after the second quarter.
