Heat’s Terry Rozier Arrested in Betting Probe

Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier was arrested Thursday at an Orlando hotel amid an FBI sports-betting probe, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania. The Eastern District of New York and FBI director Kash Patel plan a 10 a.m. news conference to announce arrests. Sportsbooks had flagged a March 23, 2023 surge of under bets on his points, rebounds and assists before he exited a Hornets game after 10 minutes with a foot injury. His attorney says Rozier met with NBA and FBI officials in 2023 and the league found no violations. The case stems from the Jontay Porter betting scandal.
