After his record-setting Game 3, when Shohei Ohtani reached base in all nine plate appearances, he skipped interviews and was hustled past about 1 a.m. by Dodgers security after spending time in the trainer's room. He received IVs after midnight. The treatment followed his on-field remark, "I need to go to bed." Initially, it was thought he left early to sleep, but he first stopped for care. Despite the overnight medical attention, Ohtani started the next day and worked into the seventh inning.
