US forces conducted a second strike on a vessel allegedly carrying drugs in the Pacific, killing three, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said. Hours earlier, another boat was hit, killing two. The Pacific strikes are the first after mostly Caribbean operations. Colombia condemned the actions near its coast as disproportionate, outside international law, and akin to a death penalty. Video showed a boat ablaze and floating items then hit again. President Donald Trump asserted legal authority and may seek Congress if expanding to land. At least 37 people have died in recent strikes on alleged drug boats.
