Beijing will ensure Nexperia’s China facilities resume shipments of legacy chips and pause export controls on rare earth minerals for a year. The US will lower tariffs tied to fentanyl imports as China pledges significant measures. China also committed to buy 12 million tonnes of US soybeans in the last two months of 2025 and 25 million tonnes annually for the next three years, easing trade tensions.
