Broadview ICE facility protest draws hundreds, several arrested

Protesters demanding transparency and accountability from federal officials at the Broadview, Illinois ICE facility were met with a significant law enforcement presence and some arrests. Concrete barriers were erected to manage the demonstration. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was observed at the facility. At least five protesters were arrested for charges including aggravated battery to an officer and resisting arrest. Numerous others were detained.
