Minnesota Gov. Walz says he won't run for public office again

In a Wednesday MS Now interview, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said he will never run for elected office again, stressing there are other ways to serve and praising unnamed 'heroes on the streets.' He had already announced earlier this year he wouldn't seek reelection as governor. On Thursday, Minnesota Democratic Gov. Amy Klobuchar said she is running for governor, telling voters, 'Minnesotans, we've been through a lot.' Minnesota has also drawn attention for immigration crackdowns in the Minneapolis area, as anti ICE protests spread after federal agents killed two protesters; the Trump administration says it is investigating.
