Bills outlast Chiefs as defense delivers

Buffalo outlasted Kansas City 28-21 at Highmark Stadium, surviving a late push after Josh Allen’s second rushing score built a 28-13 lead. The Chiefs answered with a Kareem Hunt touchdown run and a Mahomes two-point pass to Travis Kelce, but Maxwell Hairston intercepted a pressured deep ball, and two Hail Marys fell incomplete after Matt Prater’s 52-yarder hit the upright. Allen went 23-of-26 for 273 yards, and James Cook ran 27 times for 114. Buffalo logged three sacks and 15 hits on Mahomes but lost Michael Hoecht to an Achilles injury.
